Great shelf! Easy to install right into studs. One of the L-brackets was clearly less that 90° angle but it didn't actually make a difference. I hung it and everything is level. Really nice! It is raw. So it requires you to stain it if you want. But that allows you to change it to any color and match your room. We stained it a natural color. Easy to install my husband said. I still need to put stuff on it for decoration. But so far I like it. It is deeper than stated. It is well made. It seems a bit pricey to me for being raw wood. Although it’s not recommended to place it above a bed, I needed a shelf that wasn’t too heavy to install above my dresser and hold my projector. I really wish the color were lighter, the way it looks in the photos (I bought the Special Walnut), but aside from that, the included pieces are great and quite heavy. You may see holes from a mortise and tenon joint or other time-honored wood joining techniques. You may notice where a hinge or hook is used to hang.
