Our telescopic design enables you to easily adjust the rod length, ranging from 16 inches to 144 inches, suitable for window sizes from 72 inches to 144 inches. Just slide the inner rod or disassemble the rod section as needed. Before purchasing, please measure the entire window frame (not just the glass). The length of the curtain rod should be 4 to 12 inches longer than the size of the window frame. This extra length (referred to as the "overlapping part") enables the curtains to be neatly stacked on both sides when opened. For a 36-inch window, please choose a curtain rod that is 40 to 48 inches long.

This metal curtain is made of multiple shorter rods that screw together. This makes for a much more solid rod than others I've seen in the past. The seems are visible up close but not from afar. Overall, I think the brushed gold finish looks very nice. I bought this to span across a 149" window and have a single bracket in the center with no bending. However, I am using only two 100" panels of a linen blend curtain, so they are very light. I'm satisfied with this solution, as it allows me to completely open the curtains to feature our large picture window.. Katie. Wisconsin. Sat Sep 19 2026
