Glass earns its place in a kitchen, and this small beaker is a good argument for why. Its laboratory shape makes measuring out liquids feel oddly satisfying, and the level is visible the whole way up. Use it for stock, oil or a splash of something on the way into a pan, then leave it on the shelf where the shape reads as decoration.

Love this measuring cup. Only thing that would make it better is if it was plastic instead of glass.. Jen. Dekalb, IL. Thu Jun 10 2021

The new 34 fl oz Kilner Fermentation Jar Set provides the easy way to create smaller batches of your own delicious, fermented foods packed with vitamins, minerals and probiotic cultures. The wide neck opening on the jar allows for easy filling and decanting of the finished creation. The unique silicone duck beak shaped valve incorporated in the lid releases the gases that build up inside the jar during the fermentation process. However, the atmospheric air on the outside will not be able to enter the jar, which usually causes food to spoil. The ceramic weights sit on top of the ingredients to ensure that they are kept under the brine solution. Once fermentation is complete, the one-piece lid allows you to store the finished food in the fridge ready to consume.

Everything needed to begin fermenting. The lid includes a built in vent to let gases escape, and kit includes ceramic weights and a separate airtight lid for storage in fridge once fermentation is done. Very well made.. Barbara. Quincy, MA. Wed Sep 09 2026
