I haven't installed these yet, but in looking them over, theyre not bad at all. I'm sure if they had been built in the good Ole USA, they'd be heftier. One thing I've learned doing woodworking, China makes a very inferior steel. The search is always on for screws and bolts made with US steel. We absolutely love this dusk-to-dawn barn light! It has been perfect for our needs. A nice addition to our front porch. We love the dusk to dawn feature. There is no bottom glass, which would be nice to keep cleaner inside glass, but it seems most lights are made that way now. Easy for our handyman to install, but he had to use longer screws for mounting, so we could not use the cute screw covers included. Packing was good and the two lamps arrived with no damage..
