This is a beautiful, very sturdy cage! I put it together myself without any problems. I found the play top was missing 4 nuts, but I bought them at the hardware store and finished putting it all together. I love the drop down feeder doors!! The large front door makes it so easy to clean. My cockatiel loves all the room he has to play in and he enjoys being out on the play top! We both really like this cage and I’m very happy I got it!! This is my 3rd Wayfair cage and I couldn’t be happier with their service and their products!!. Barbara. Lynchburg, VA. Sat Oct 17 2026

Heat and odors can build up fast in a small apartment, making hamster care feel stressful. Stale air clings, kids peek in too often, and a wobbly setup adds worry. Hamster Cage solves it with open ventilation for fresh airflow, a powder-coated steel tube frame that stays steady, and clear acrylic sides for calm, no-opening watching and family bonding.

This enclosure is fantastic! The instructions are a little difficult to understand. Pay attention to the details. Be SURE to take the little rubberbands off before you attempt to remove the protective covering.. Barb. LA. Tue Aug 25 2026

This 2-tier small animal cage with a stylish New Zealand wood finish is perfect for rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, and squirrels. It features a sturdy metal frame, double-door design for easy access and cleaning, and a top enclosed locker to store pet supplies securely. Metal ramps offer non-slip, durable access between levels, while slide-out trays simplify daily care. Four 360° universal wheels (2 with locks) allow easy transport and secure placement. The embedded hammock buckle adds extra comfort, and the elegant round locks ensure safety. A spacious, functional home that blends seamlessly with your home decor while meeting your small pet’s needs.

We bought this for two rats and it's very spacious and pretty much perfect for them. Assembly was very simple and straightforward. The doors seem a bit cheap and flimsy. Not that a rat can breakout of them, but they don't align perfectly and there is a bit of "flex". Doesn't have any impact on our use case, but worth noting. The storage on the bottom is handy for extras, the wheels are nice for pulling the cage out and vacuuming under it and behind it. The look is very nice and it's not your average rodent cage. The only thing that I would add for future iterations of this cage is more hooks to the top for toys. On the top level there are 4 hooks for the hammock it comes with and nothing else, so you have to add your own and do something else. Otherwise, I'm really pleased with our purchase.. Kara. IN. Four stronger metal wheels to easily move the guinea pig cage and quickly. Two are brakes to fix well and keep safe.Great cage for rats, hamsters. guinea pigs, rats, mice, hedgehogs.

So far this is working out for our hamster. We made the bottom section a big burrowing area with paper bedding and just made it lower by the doors so it didn't fall out if we needed to open it. This is one of the only cages that was close to the recommended sizes for a hamster and it was able to fit everything we planned. I wish every screw hole was pre drilled but being careful and using a drill I was able to make it work. Taking the film off one of the glass sides was harder to take off but was able to manage..
