However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room. Bought the California king size down comforter to put in a king duvet cover on a queen size bed. It is as fluffy and luxurious as I had hoped although less fluffy than the photos online appear. The comforter is so much warmer than my old one. I used to need an extra fleece blanket and would still be cold. With this new comforter, I was able to remove the fleece blanket and set my thermostat 5 degrees lower in New England winter and still be cozy and warm. I love it. I dont think the size of the comforter is accurate. But other than that... it's not bad. I do get hot but I am also hot natured so I just remove the cover off, or stick a leg out.
