Little architects and engineers will learn through play as they build with ECR4Kids Wooden Hollow Block Set. These oversized unit-style hollow blocks introduce shape recognition and early math concepts like doubling, comparison, and symmetry. Students employ problem-solving and critical thinking skills as they stack and build with increasing complexity. Open-ended play supports imagination, and creativity, and helps develop independence as children design ramps, racetracks, and towers in countless arrangements. Use individually or pair up for teamwork, collaboration, and cooperative learning. Constructed from sustainably harvested birch plywood with a durable finish sealing the wood surface and resisting scratching. A UV inhibitor helps furniture resist ultraviolet light and yellowing. Natural birch plywood is extremely durable and will hold up to everyday use in daycares and preschools, great for the home. Hollow blocks are lightweight and easy to grasp for two-handed movement. This set of 18 hollow blocks includes two flat boards, one half-wide ramp, one ramp, six quarter units, two half-wide units, two units, and four square units.

The set is made out of giant size pine wood blocks with smooth sanded edges. The tower starts out at 2.5 ft tall and can grow to over 5 ft during games. The object is to pull blocks out of the body of the tower and replace them at the top without the tower falling over. Our set includes printed numbers on the bottoms of some of the blocks. These numbers correspond with a special set of rules that make the game even more fun! For example, you may pull a block and then see it has the #6 printed on the bottom and this would mean you follow the #6 rule which can be anything you want (skip your next turn / reverse order / draw another block / etc). The rules sheet is a dry-erase board so you can create your own rules. You can make the rules adult themed or goofy. The game includes a robust canvas carrying case so you can neatly store the set or bring it with you anywhere.

Not good for kids since blocks ultimately falling over can be risky for them. The big size is fun though. Anonymous. Leander, TX. Sun Oct 11 2026
