Side pilasters, bracket feet and a thick top provide architectural elements. Drawers have dovetail construction for durability and glide on metal ball bearing side guides. This chest is absolutely stunning. It looks exactly like it is pictured online. The whole chest is solid, well made, and it is very heavy. The drawers are soft-close and can hold quite a bit, however the drawers are not particularly deep. The granite is beautiful and since this chest is so large there is quite a bit of granite surface area. I purchased this for my office but it would look beautiful in a bedroom as well. In fact, I kind of want the bedroom set after seeing this in person. I am so happy with this purchase. The bedroom chest is built from solid wood including a unique sliding door with barn-door style hardware. Designed for ample storage space, you will find three interior shelves behind the sliding door and four drawers with cut-out pulls on the right side.
