This is a beautiful desk. Looks just as good as it does in the picture. The chairs in my photo are also from Wayfair. I recommend paying the money to assemble. It took the two-person crew three hours. But it looks perfect. However, long after the assembly crew left, I realized the light on the front of the desk does not work. This is a nice sturdy desk. It does take hours to put together but the instructions are easy to follow and very accurate. I gave it only 4 stars because of the time it takes and the fact that the electrical part of the desk could have been easier to hide cords and such. Beautiful desk! I chose to pay the assembly fee which resulted in three handmen working for two hours straight to assemble the desk. While the instructions did not appear to be confusing or difficult, there were a lot of tiny parts so it was time-consuming. My only recommendation to the designer is to make the hole for the power cord slightly larger as it is impossible to run a cord through the back of the desk once it has been assembled.. Morgan.
