It was easy to put together with the exception of the top’s “picture frame” that took a little bit of thinking. The wood was pre-drilled and the engineering on this construction is delightful. The parts fits together very well with self-evident features (grooves) in the wood panels that serve as a helpful guide. It took about two hours to construct and it was helpful to have a helper to brace it. We used an electric drillscrewdriver, a socket wrench and a regular screwdriver. It is pretty and sturdy. As noted the instructions are not the best, and for some reason there is a gap in the back so we could not screw the back to the top ( see top right of photo).
