This is a very large cage. It was time consuming putting together but well worth it in the end. The directions were clear and easy to follow. I did put it together by myself and it took about 2 hours. Comes with a long skinny perch and 2 small food bowls. They are not big enough for my bird but nice to have included. For the price point the material is very heavy, and the cage is well made. There is plenty of room and doors. I added a bath at one door, and a UVAUVB light so my small parrot could get needed light. Pretty well constructed. Everything fit together nicely. Directions are a bit vague at times. But my 16 year old daughter assembled it completely on her own with the tools provided in the kit. Fit and finish is nice. Rather sturdy for a wire cage versus a wrought iron cage. But thats why the price is half of a wrought iron. I absolutely love these ! They make such a statement in my garden. The first thing I did was buy heavy duty stakes to mount them in the yard because we get a lot of wind here in Texas. The only thing I am concerned about is that the lid just sits on top, it isn’t secure. I’m thinking about getting some wire to secure the lid to the base. It's a lovely cage, well made and designed for a small bird, like my cockatiel. We did have a problem getting the dome installed due to in -the-box damage, which left it enough askew that it took many tries to get the job done.
