I absolutely love the looks of this door! Sleek and modern and a really great price through Wayfair. The frame which I ordered separately is white which at first I thought… hmm.. with a black door But… we have painted the house white and the frame really compliments the door and house as you can see in the pictures. Only drawback is that it is VERY fragile, the finish as it chips super easily. My husband dropped one of the hinges and it bounced and hit the door and left a big chip in the black finish. These doors are great! I didn't want to paint doors and these were bright white. They came well packaged, no damage. They are very heavy and took 2 people to put them up, which were my husband and I. They are, in fact, trimmable as we needed them to be, but be mindful that you need to remove screws at the bottom to trim it, then replace those screws afterwards, so you may want a pro to do this if you not exceptionally skilled. They do have a fairly good sound barrier even with glass. The glass came down lower than expected, to mid-thigh on my 5'5" frame, but it's good for letting out natural light, which I needed. Of note, the veneer is thick and is sort of plastic, not paintable, so do not chip it. We have one tiny chip to fix which was our fault. The veneer does make it easy to clean though. The draw back it the trim that comes with it is basically cardboard with veneer and is garbage. I literally broke it with my bare hands. We used real wood trim.
