For the price so far, so good. I find it hilarious that the ribbed wood pedestal is Velcrod to the table But it looks fine enough for my purposes. I bought the table more for looks, as it will rarely be used. Still, its very decent quality (as much quality as you can get from MDF and veneer), and seems sturdy with the extra middle support. Id say it seats 8 comfortably. If you have slimmer profile chairs, you could squeeze in 10 tightly.. Heather. Sacramento, CA. Fri Aug 28 2026

This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . this is a well constructed table. it is unfinished which i loved so i can put the color i want. it did have one ding on the top of the table and the box it came in was not damaged so this happened during boxing or manufacturing. but i can fix it. this is a great table and it looks great too. Nice table. Well made, solid wood. Arrived with a few dings and scratches, decided to live with them rather than going through the hassle of returning. BUT my biggest issue is the color. Table is the perfect size for my dining room. It opens up easy. The leaves have a great locking mechanism and are very sturdy.
