This is a great piece of outdoor working furniture. It is made from cedar and smells wonderful when unpacking and putting together. I may have to make it my new best friend and sit my porch rocker closer to it and enjoy the fragrance! I am happy with it. The color blends with my house color well right out of the box. Easy to put together but hard to get out of the box because of the foam filling, but the foam did the trick. No damages whatsoever. Originally, I was going to paint it black to match the trim on my home. However, the brownish/gray color actually kind of blends in. So I am leaving it and considering painting it after a couple of years to freshen it up, rather than right now when it's new. The little plastic sink unit is nice and easily comes out to fill and/or dump its contents. The drawer is nice for items you want near by but out of the weather. Now, this potting bench was designed with the serious gardener in mind. This is a real workbench. The extra-large size, two shelves on top (and bottom storage, too) really lets you spread out. Complete with a bucket, and cover tray (it protects soil from cats, weather, etc…and can be used as a carrying tray) added charm, and excellent craftsmanship; this is a great gardener’s bench for anyone.

Leaving a second review as I don’t see my first one listed This product is made of really inexpensive pinewood with a very light spray paint is it a scratch and comes off when you wipe It’s listed as an outdoor potting bench when it actually rained water fell through the gaps of the countertop ended up in my drawer this took me an hour and a half to put together and I recommend highly if you want to last more than one summer just give it a varnish coat. It will extend the life of this piece and also make it waterproof. Overall, it’s a nice piece.
