Leaving a second review as I don’t see my first one listed This product is made of really inexpensive pinewood with a very light spray paint is it a scratch and comes off when you wipe It’s listed as an outdoor potting bench when it actually rained water fell through the gaps of the countertop ended up in my drawer this took me an hour and a half to put together and I recommend highly if you want to last more than one summer just give it a varnish coat. It will extend the life of this piece and also make it waterproof. Overall, it’s a nice piece. The quality needs improving in order to make it last through the outdoor environments Probably not an issue if you’re keeping it in a garage or an enclosed area. Julie. Charlotte, NC. Excellent potting bench which was easy to assemble, withstands all weather conditions well and looks great on my patio! Highly recommend.. Anonymous. Tue Oct 20 2026

Great for entertaining, barbecuing, and especially gardening. This charming compact design will store your gardening tools, pots, etc. and it has a towel, toolbar, and side bins for small pots or seed packets. Please note that the side bins no longer have three bins. It now comes with two for larger storage.

This is a great piece of outdoor working furniture. It is made from cedar and smells wonderful when unpacking and putting together. I may have to make it my new best friend and sit my porch rocker closer to it and enjoy the fragrance! I am happy with it. The color blends with my house color well right out of the box. Easy to put together but hard to get out of the box because of the foam filling, but the foam did the trick. No damages whatsoever. Looking forward to storing planting pots, tools, etc. and working on this.. Kim. Jefferson, NC. Wed Aug 12 2026

I'm super delighted with this potting shed. We purchased it, in the 'natural' color, to use in our rec room as a china hutch. I was initially afraid that it would look too 'potting bench-ish' to be used as such. Once it was assembled, though, I found that it was even better than I had hoped. The existing wood in the rec room is a warm oak with a satin finish. The color of the potting shed was very much the same but with a matt finish. I fixed that by coating the wood with Howard's Feed-N-Wax wood polish and conditioner which not only gave the wood a slight sheen but deepened the color for an even better match with existing wood. NOTE 1: I originally, purchased two of these for the rec room based on measurements provided in the real estate listing for our new house. Once we got in the house, we found that, while I could fit both in the recroom, it gave the room a very crowded, over-stuffed look. So, we sent one back and kept one. Customer service was fabulous and the return was simple! NOTE 2: The assembly was time consuming even for my husband who is quite comfortable with wood working in general. But definitely worth it. It includes an extra transparent PVC layer that is easy to clean and prevents water leakage to keep the work surface dry. The bench is equipped with a quality plastic sink and lid designed for convenient soil mixing and safe plant potting. For storage, it offers a built-in cabinet drawer with two hooks for tools and essentials, along with a large lower shelf that can hold up to 100 pounds for soil and fertilizer.

This potting bench works perfectly for me. It fits well within the space and is quite sturdy. It took the assembler about 45 minutes to put it together on my back porch, where it is now. Originally, I was going to paint it black to match the trim on my home. However, the brownish/gray color actually kind of blends in. So I am leaving it and considering painting it after a couple of years to freshen it up, rather than right now when it's new. The little plastic sink unit is nice and easily comes out to fill and/or dump its contents. The drawer is nice for items you want near by but out of the weather. There is a pretty sturdy plastic cloth that fits on top to cover the items below and keep them dry. I would expect that it protects the wood, too. I am pleased with this purchase.. Dyanne.
