It does the job! At first I thought the pegs on the vertical bars didn’t fit at all into the slots on the layer boards; it turns out they do but you need to jam them in there HARD. There’s no screws/nails; the rack is held together by tenon & mortise joints, so the pressure/tension/tightness is supposed to be like that. This is the cheapest plastic junk I have ever seen. Thin materials, holes don't line up, and the whole thing weighs less than 10 lbs fully assembled so I have low expectations that it won't tip over. The space between the shelves is too narrow for work or hiking boots so the utility is really only for sneakers or low heels. These were exactly what I needed for my shoe organization a top my wardrobe. Delivery was as expected. Packaging was a little beat up but no damage. I purchased 3 of the smaller size and they were boxed individual then all 3 were boxed inside a larger box. Easy to put together. I put all 3 together in 20 mins.
