We replaced a mismatched basic desk and a 6 cube storage with this to give my daughter a bit more functional space for organizing. Her room has a nice long wall so we have it fully extended straight across. It took 3 of us about 2.5hrs to fully assemble, not hard just a lot of pieces with all the drawers. I will warn that it is super heavy. the top piece alone is like half the weight of the desk. was able to install it by myself just fine, went together quite quickly with a drill. While the bottom could home a pc, I was advised against for gpu performance reasons, but you totally could if you wanted to with the hole for cords in the back. there is a shelf that sits in there that I took out in the picture.. I really like this desk. I think its great. However, I only recommended it for those ready for the technical and physical challenges and have the skills, time, and patience for assembling things like this. The instructions describe the general order of assembly and are insufficient on certain details. It comes in five boxes, so be sure to do a complete inventory before starting. I spent more than 24 hours (with break times) for unpacking, inventory, and assembly, including getting the drawers and doors operating smoothly to running, wrapping, and placement of power, video, and data cables so that they are just right. I LOVE THIS DESK!!!! I wanted something larger, but not too big, and this desk did not disappoint. It has two drawers for supplies and one for hanging files.
