This is a nice sturdy desk. It does take hours to put together but the instructions are easy to follow and very accurate. I gave it only 4 stars because of the time it takes and the fact that the electrical part of the desk could have been easier to hide cords and such. Nice desk, my only complaint is the cords. youll have 2 cords they run from the top of the desk. So they are very noticeable. if you plan on having this desk pushed up against the wall, that would look better. This is a beautiful desk. Looks just as good as it does in the picture. The chairs in my photo are also from Wayfair. I recommend paying the money to assemble. It took the two-person crew three hours. But it looks perfect. However, long after the assembly crew left, I realized the light on the front of the desk does not work. I really do love this desk for the most part, but there are a few things that lost it a star. First, the storage is pretty low quality for the price. The drawers are just cardboard on the bottom and they don’t soft close or anything. The shelving on the other side is kind of dumb also - they’re not big enough to fit anything but small planners or something like that. Partly my fault for not looking at those dimensions, but I just assumed I could keep books there. And finally, putting this desk together is pretty difficult alone. I’ve put together a lot of furniture on my own, and I know what I’m doing, but this took like 6 hours. And I think one of those hours was just lining up the desk too with all the tiny holes to screw it on lol would be much easier with help. Now for positives - the desk looks really good and works really well! The desktop is sturdy and high quality, and the presets are very easy to set and use. There’s plenty of room underneath for your chair or a walking pad. LOVE this desk!! It has so much counter space I hardly know what to do with myself! It did take several hours to assemble and you definitely have to really pay attention to the directions but it was worth it in the end!
