It’s light weight on my washer and dryer but not so light weight that when peed on it goes through. I went on vacation and my dog had a couple accidents while I was gone in between someone coming and letting her out. It protected my floors underneath it wonderfully. I through it in the washer when I got home and the floors where dry and the rug was easy to pick up and put in. It dried fast and easy unlike other rugs I’ve had in the past. I didn’t have to hang it up and wait a day or two to dry and it doesn’t peel or tear it in the laundry. I also want to say how soft the rug is. This is the most beautiful stunning carpet that I have ever purchased. The colors of blue and black make the room look beautiful! There is one spot on the carpet that is a huge white spot. I thought it was a defect but it actually is part of the 'design' as shown in the photo. I personally didn't like it so I turned the rug so that the end with the spot is in an unseen spot. Other than that, the carpet arrived undamaged and rolled out without any ripples. The carpet is well made and plush. I had to tape down two corners for a few days to flatten the ends and then it laid down perfectly. NO ODORS whatsoever which is also a plus!! Do not hesitate to purchase this beauty!! This rug is very nice, it’s very thin, so to vacuum it you have to put the vacuum on the lowest setting. I like that it has the rubbery coating on back to keep it from scooting around. Im really happy with this kitchen runner! The material feels durable and well made, and the non-slip backing keeps it securely in place.
