Love these! You get functionality without having to have a big ugly gate. They’re aesthetically pleasing. It was easy to install and I like that you can addremove panels. I did put some felt furniture pads on the bottom or else this would definitely scratch the hardwoods. I wish they made a little bit higher gate!. Kelly. Ephrata, PA. Tue Feb 18 2025

The patented Dog Proofer fence extension system is the most effective solution available today for modifying existing fencing to stop larger animals such as dogs, coyotes, foxes, etc. from climbing and/or jumping over a fence. They fence extensions allow you to add up 2 feet of additional height to your existing fence made from wood, chain link, brick, block, vinyl/pvc, or metal. In addition, they proprietary design is custom engineered to to force your dog (or intruder animal) to climb the fence. Once they reach the edge of the arm, they are unable to plant their back feet (which is how these animals derive their strength to climb) which makes them dangle for a time before giving up and falling back to the ground.  Dogs and large predators alike do not have the front leg muscles to pull their weight vertically without the use of their hind legs. Kit includes components to outfit approximately 100 linear feet of fencing. The number of corners and gates may require additional components. (1) 4' x 100' Galvanized and pvc coated welded wire mesh (12) Galvanized and powder coated houdini-proof dog fence extension arms (2) 120lb Test heavy duty black zip ties - bag (100) No fasteners to hold fence extenders to posts are included due to the wide variety of fencing types and materials.

I ordered this to donate to the foster program at our local shelter. Foster families can always use enclosures to comfortably confine litters during puppy/kitten season. This one looks like it would be great for mothers & kittens during their first 6 weeks. Small breed dogs too. All the parts look good, and the enclosure should be fairly easy to construct with the provided hardware (I haven't put it together yet as it's a gift). Being able to store some supplies right on top is a big plus. Looks good to go, and I'll be happy to donate it. :) **Put it together after all, and I want to say again - young kittens and small breed puppies. It's plenty sturdy for them, but older kittens will climb right out, and larger puppies rough-housing will be able to push it around. This would be nice to set up in a communal area if you have other animals. Mothers can feel protected from them in the enclosed area, while curious babies have a protected area to roam. Plenty of room for beds, litter boxes, etc.. It's a little hard to pull apart between uses, but it all fits into a fairly small box for storage. ** I don't think I recieved a door latch?? Can't be sure in case one of my cats knocked it off the table when I was photographing parts and lost it somewhere playing with it, but I should have found it by now.... Carole. Grants Pass, OR. I just put it up. The instructions are lacking a bit of detail that could help the process at the end. There are 4 strips of rubber tape left and the instructions don’t say what to do which it. . Otherwise it seems to be of good quality.. Sophia. Sun May 03 2026

This is great. I was looking for a permanent solution to keep the dog from the front door and a way to separate the dogs from my niece when she visits. This is perfect fix. It opens and closes easily with adult human hands, meaning the dogs or my niece can’t open it. It also has a lock, which will be great when my niece is a little older. It is permanently attached to the wall so I don’t have to fumble with a gate, and it isn’t in the way. I am quite happy with this mesh gate.. Anonymous. Sat Jul 11 2026

A metal pet gate provides a secure and flexible solution for creating safe spaces throughout your home. Designed with a pressure-mounted frame, this adjustable cat gate fits openings from 21" to 34" wide and extends in height from 75" to 98". The narrow bar spacing helps keep curious cats safely contained, while the walk-through door allows convenient access for people. Its lightweight plastic accents and locking mechanism add everyday functionality. Plus, we love that this tall pet gate helps create a comfortable environment for pets and their families.

This is likely not what many people are using this skate for, but were doing it to help socialize our wonderful new dog with my two cats, one of them is not very dog savvy. When we tried to do this with a normal baby gate, she kept trying to launch herself over it so of course, he wanted to chase her. This was the most affordable option that I could find for something floor to ceiling that would allow them to become more familiar without the potential danger that an unexpected interaction could have caused. Ive been very happy with it. The socialization is going great, and there is no way that my cat can jump over this. Its also sturdier than I expected as the pup still likes to paw at it from time to time, with no issues so far. Its very easy to open and close. This is a great affordable option!. Katherine. I really love this gate. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is I wish it were a little taller. My cats figured out how to jump over it (straight from the ground), so I wish it were a little taller. We added a cardboard topper as a work around.. Jordyn. New Port Richey, FL. Sat Sep 19 2026

I really like this gate/door. It's easily assembled, easily portable, and versatile in that you can prop open all the sections independently. I use this as a cat gate, and I use it to isolate a section of the house for cooling just that section. Only two things I didn't like: 1) The center pole makes the opening small to walk through. While optional, if I don't have it there, it is ineffective as a gate because the cats can slip through it. 2) When using the center pole, one side or the other becomes fixed - the locking attachments require connecting one side with the center pole. Excellent choice otherwise, and very reasonable price. I bought 2 more!. Derek. Euless, TX. Thu Sep 10 2026
