These are amazing! I have slipped down our all wood tread stairs twice. The first time, I broke a coupla ribs. The second time I slipped I was three stairs from reaching the carpeted basement, holding our puppy. This last time I was just furious and fed up with them. I called a carpet place immediately and had someone come out to provide a bid for a runner but then? I just thought I'd check Wayfair. . . Wow. I am SO happy I did and with the help of all the five-star reviews on these, I ordered the closest color and best pattern. They are amazing!!! They adhere well to the treads, they fit the bullnose and I no longer have to clutch the railing like my life depends on it. Not to mention our little furry friend will be more likely to learn to go up and down, with these in place. If this is an item you need? Just buy them. Figure out which ones look best because they probably won't match your existing carpet, and then love your stairs. Also our steps are varying widths. We center the top stair in each flight, and then used a pattern to make sure the distance on the left side (in the image) was consistent. I am a discerning customer and it was important to me that these looked good and felt good under foot. They do both. With a nice finished edge all around, they lay flat and the adhesive makes them grip firmly.. Sue Brandon. Fort Lauderdale, FL. Tue Oct 20 2026

The Non-Slip Washable Indoor Stair Treads are awesome! I had old wooden steps and they are about years old. These were shipped speedily and were easy to take the plastic off the back and the sticky stuff on the back adhered to my steps immediately! Which was great. It literally took me 20 minutes to put them on. And look at the difference! Love these . Plus they are lightweight and WASHABLE! In Wisconsin you need that expecially in the winter time! Love these. I wouldv'e however liked them more if they were a differnt color because these will show alot of dirt. But throw them in the washer and your all set!. Peggy. El Cajon, CA. Wed Oct 21 2026

The stair treads are exactly what I expected. Color is spot on and amazing slip resistant. I don’t think anything else will be needed to prevent slipping. Size options were a definite bonus . My only problem was with Fed ex and the very long delivery time Twice all tracking stopped .highly recommend these to anyone who needs customized sizing . Our stairs to 3rd floor are very narrow and shallow .. Sparky. Western New York. Wed Aug 19 2026

I'm really happy with these stair carpets- it was hard to find ones with the correct dimensions for my staircase which has pretty thick edging, and in the color that matches my painted stairs and is textured. I was worried they weren't going to be soft/cushioned enough, but the cross texture feels comfortable on my feet and adds that extra traction I was looking for. All around a great purchase! *Some things to note- it was hard to peel the thin plastic off the back, so just take your time with it, and make sure the Velcro truly lines up with the carpet edge or it will look crooked and not stick right. When instructions say 2inches out, they really mean that. We were off by maybe 1/16th inch and it wouldn't stay folded underneath correctly.. Anonymous. Sun Jul 19 2026

These treads are excellent. Easy to install and they stay in place. What I like best about them is that they wrap around the front of the step. They are worth the money and I’d recommend. Color was exactly as described. Very happy with purchase.. Anonymous. Thu Oct 01 2026

I have an older home and need smaller sized stair treads. These are perfect! It was very helpful that they're offered in a variety of sizes (not all treads are). The Beige color is a nice 'neutral', rugs feel soft and they look nice on the steps; they fit perfectly. They aren't installed, still working on the stairs and they might need tape to secure them on the staircase.. Kathryn. Staten Island, NY. Fri Aug 07 2026

I love these. They are perfect for my new stairwell. We wanted to change the visual in the stairs and this does the trick. Just subtle enough but still pretty. The sticky backing isn’t super sticky, so I had to tape too. So it took a bit longer to get them installed. Plus they are sometimes slightly crooked at the ends but nothing too bad.. Sarah. great to cover "TREX" stairs that get too hot for dog to walk on. These are the best thing we did to our TREX stairs that are to hot for dog or human bare feet in the summer.
