Elevate your home organization with this versatile adjustable etagere bookshelf—born from a real design challenge at home. Inspired by the designer’s wife, an avid collector of decorative pieces of all shapes and sizes, the problem was simple: traditional fixed-shelf bookcases often couldn’t fit her newly purchased décor. Its shelves can be adjusted freely to accommodate items of different sizes, and the overall width can also be modified to adapt to various room layouts. Reversible cubbies and multi-scenario flexibility make this unit both practical and stylish for living rooms, offices, or entryways. I purchase a two-pack of this bookcase and it is incredibly sturdy, and the wayfair professional assembly was great. It was not super complicated, and the bookcase is easy to move despite its size. The two bookshelves sit next to each other pefectly. The shelves are deep enough to hold three full rows of paperbacks, or two rows of hardcovers. It fits so many books! The shelf doors also have the slow-close feature to prevent slamming. The only possible downside is the weight. It came in several boxes of about 100lb each. Some were very long, some were short but dense. It definitely takes two people to move the boxes inside! The order shipped fast, and arrived on time. Despite the weight of the boxes, the shelves themselves are a good balance of sturdy and heavy. The ladder comes as a separate package, easy to assemble, and just hooks onto the individual rings. it doesn't slide, but that's okay, because I have it on a rug. The ladder is super light and is tall enough that you can access the top shelf and even on top of the bookshelf! Overall I would happily buy this bookcase again.. Nick. Chicago, IL. Thu Oct 15 2026

These shelves are exactly as described and look gorgeous - especially with a patterned wallpaper behind them! The drawers are more shallow than my brain expected, but they are smooth too. They are sturdy enough to hold up my Grandma's dishes, and there are small intentional grooves on the very top to help balance decor. They thought of everything!. Cassi. Hutchinson, KS. Stratton emulates the grand scale and timeless beauty of a Gothic library. Distinguishing details include elegant arches, fluted corbels, dentil molding, and beadboard back panels. Hardwood veneers have been wire brushed and intentionally distressed to present an authentic aged appearance and are enhanced by the rich toffee finish. The five-step wooden ladder can be hung on metal bars for an added touch of nostalgia.

It's cute, but one of the bookshelves was a bit wobbly. The delivery guys had to adjust some nodes at the bottom so it would be sturdy, but this made it not match up to the other bookshelf. Disappointed a bit in the quality. Kalpana. Dublin, OH. Tue Apr 21 2026
