Vacuum cleaners!! We can’t seem to find what works best for us. But after much frustration and research we decided on this one. So far, so good. We’ve only used it a couple of times so far so I cannot speak to longevity or reliability, but it works well. It was easy to put together. The removable parts are easy to take off and put back on. We love the 30 foot cord. On our first use, it was unbelievable how much dirt and hair it picked up. It was kind of disgusting to think our floor was that bad. Also, the two things this model has that the other models of the same series doesn’t have is the LED lights, which really seems to help and also a handheld attachment which has a rotating brush. I don’t even remember seeing that in the write up but it will be perfect for upholstery and curtains. We’re happy that we gave this brand a try. Hopefully it will prove to be dependable. This vacuum is perfect for my little place. It’s just a smaller version than the larger one that my daughter has. But the suction on this vacuum is outstanding! I read some of the other reviews who said it didn’t have much suction power but this one sucked up a lot of dog hair. I haven’t had a vacuum in a week and I have a golden retriever. You can see in the photo how much hair it sucked off my rug on the the floor and from the couch! I love this little vacuum!! it also has a really long cord, which is great. I don’t have to keep unplugging and plugging in somewhere else. It has several attachments that are helpful too. I also read where someone said when they vacuumed dust came out from the back. I didn’t have that problem at all and I’ve only got the one rug in my living room, which is a small space rug and then I have the hardwood floors, there was no dust coming out of this vacuum cleaner. Well this definitely is light weight. You can see the first time usage and I have alot of dirt already in the canister so it sucking power is very good. I gave it a four because it is not a quiet vacuum nor can it clean carpets as well like I was told from the customer service. Representative. Do not get this vacuum if you have high carpet or shag. I absolutely love everything about this Shark Cordless PowerDetect Stick Vacuum. The suction is incredibly powerful for a cordless unit—it picks up dirt, dust, and debris with ease on both hard floors and carpets. I love this vacuum. It works great. The only thing is the cord will get stuck in the bottom of the vacuum if you’re not careful while using. Other than that, I love it and it works so well especially cleaning up after 2 large dogs who shed a lot. (A Red Golden Retriever and a Bernese Mountain dog).
