Exactly as shown on the website. Heavy. Substantial. Goes really well with some chairs from Wayfair that we love too. PAY ATTENTION TO THR CARE WARNINGS! This table shows grease very easily and it’s hard to clean. A mixture of vinegar and water helps but we’ve had stubborn stains created in our first two weeks of use. Use placemats! Clean after every use!. Andrea. Seattle, WA. Sun May 03 2026

The Hereford dining table is a perfect blend of craftsmanship and functionality, ideal for both the dining room and kitchen. Its solid acacia wood construction offers a sturdy and appealing centerpiece for any gathering, while the smart extension feature makes it adaptable for various occasions. This table brings a touch of country charm to your home, enhancing both style and practicality.

Firstly- Wayfair customer service is actually great. They sent me a whole new table after parts went missing in shipment, and even picked up the old incomplete table. Secondly- this review needs a video. It's shocking how easy it is to expand this table- and it looks so continuous- it doesnt suddenly have a completely different grain in the middle. I love that the leaf stays in place and protected- and that i dont have to get everyone's help to extend my table. The table itself is stunning and so easy to assemble. The wood grain is just the most divine color. It looks luxurious and Im in love. One downside to this table that I didnt think about- the legs are not actually getting 19" further apart. The top is expanding- which makes it super easy to expand, but a bit more of a challenge to fit chairs across, as the legs arent getting further apart. So you kind of do need to use small, maybe some elegant folding chairs, when you extend, as a full additional dining chair probably wont fit on each side Lastly- the packaging of the leaflet isn't great. Both tables, the leaflet was bent and partially damaged. We were able to use a rubber mallet to hammer back in place. We were lucky the new table had damage only on the hidden side of the leaflet , but our first table was badly damaged on both sides. oh, and, after Christmas, we had a small hole on the table- not sure what, but kind of seemed like a burn mark. it seems like the top layer of the wood might be fragile and prone to heat damage- I'll just have to wait and see about longevity. For the packaging, legs, and potential fragility of the top surface, im giving 4 stars to an almost perfect table. After all, the legs issue is probably a problem with all built in leaflet tables, but just one i never thought about before, and one that really hinders seating of large parties. Maybe next time ill just get an old fashioned "leaflet in garage" table. That has its major downsides too, like bubbling and warping over time... idk. Gabriella. Houston, TX. Tue Jan 06 2026

Gorgeous mid century modern style table. It’s very true to photos. Assembly was quick and easy, the finish and quality of the wood is so beautiful and it’s structurally sturdy. It is a more narrow table (I purchased in the 70” length) which is great for tighter spaces, but be sure to check the width measurement as it isn’t your standard width. Works perfectly for me. Stunning. Highly recommend!. Julie. Lehi, UT. Mon Sep 14 2026

The Mingle dining table keeps things clean, light, and easy to live with. Its slender oak legs taper gently to the floor, so the table feels relaxed in the room instead of heavy or in the way. WOW! This table is absolutely gorgeous. I purchased this table in the Wayfair Open Box section and I could not be more happy about this purchase. I think the box may have been opened but this table never left the box. It is in brand new condition. The table was shipped in two boxes via freight shipping. Once it reaches the delivery warehouse a date was set up to deliver it. Both times it was the next day. The delivery guys were great. The table has to be one of the most beautiful pieces I have purchased yet from Wayfair. I got an incredible deal, but I can see why it is priced the way it is. The finish is a very soft satin that really shows the beauty of the wood. It was built with care and is a quality piece of furniture. This is one piece I think will be staying in the family for a very long time. One thing to be aware of is the legs do make it slightly difficult to place chairs under it. Thankfully, the two chairs that I have were the perfect width and depth to fit perfectly in the middle on one side and it fits well against the banquette seating on the other. Now I just need to find two end chairs. I love this table!. Tam. TN. Thu Jul 30 2026

This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too.
