Needed a shelf to put a few guitar amplifier heads on in my studio. Amp heads can be EXTREMELY heavy so I needed something sturdy. I've had these sitting on this shelf for over a year now and no buckling or breaking at all. Metal frame helps I'm sure. It doesn't budge back-and-forth at all when adjusting knobs on the amps, but it does move side to side a teeny bit if you nudge it that way.
