This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. Couch isn’t as big as described. They say it’s 67”, it’s actually about 64”. Talked to customer service and they gave me a little kickback because I didn’t want to return it. I tried out this couch in the Wayfair store in Atlanta, so I knew what I was getting when I ordered it. It is the perfect combination of firm yet comfortable. The seat cushions are on the firmer side while the back cushions are a bit softer. The green is a beautiful neutral tone and goes well with a variety of colors. There are no side cushions, so you’ll need to get some pillows if you want to lounge. The assembly instructions are vague and misleading. You’ll need three strong, able bodied people to get the arms of the sofa attached to the back and in an entirely different manner than what is illustrated in the instructions. The bolt was not attached to the center leg support creating yet another ‘easy’ assembly obstacle … sigh.
