I bought this to match the end tables that I bought last year. I loved the style and an extra bonus for me is that the iRobot can fit underneath it so I don't have to vacuum under it. The previous sofa table that I had also had a bottom shelf, and I kept some things on it that I would prefer to have hidden from sight (binoculars, doggie paw wipes, cover for sofa) since I wanted those things near our back door (where the sofa table sits.) Now I keep those things in the drawer so that they are out of sight, but still readily available for use. It was easy to put together. My husband and I are in our 70s, but we were able to put it together in just about 1.5 to 2 hours. This piece of furniture is great! It looks even better than picture. It’s a beautiful walnut color. One of my best Wayfair purchases. It will be used in the hallway so I wasn’t too worried about durability, but it feels much more sturdy than I anticipated. It took me a couple hours to assemble and I only used the tools provided..
