I have a narrow entryway and it was always cluttered with shoes. In the photos, you can see before and after. My entryway is much much better because of this cabinet. It was easy to assemble. The only drawback is that it cannot accommodate men’s shoe sizes in excess of 11.5, unless you turn the shoe sideways, limiting the number of pairs on that shelf to two. The pictures were ok to put together, but at one point I realized I had part of the bottom box wall upsidedown and this was preventing me from being able to screw the base part to the shoe rack box part. I figured it out easily enough but someone may not notice the lineup is wrong like I did and have the same problem. Also, it is almost impossible to screw in one of the top bolts. I bought this cabinet to hide our shoes instead of having to look at a pile of shoes by the front door in the entryway. I am very pleased with the look of the cabinet. It was not hard to put together until I got to the doors. They are a little off on the one side, and even though you are given some play in the hardware, I think the one door is just a little off. So, I was a bit disappointed in that, but after working at it for a while, I got it pretty close to even. Love this shoe bench. Perfect size for the area I bought it for, the walk through from the garage into the house. Shoes were always left on the floor to trip over and now they can fit neatly in the shoe cubby holes. My husband's size 13 shoes also fit. Love it and highly recommend this product. It took me a while to put together but that was because I kept getting pieces backwards. Totally my error and not due to the instructions. They also included extra pieces which was very thoughtful. I love this. Common use shoes go under the seat, which rarely gets pushed in. Tall shoes, like rain boots, go on the open shelves. Kid shoes and adults shoes both go in the closed cabinet with an odor eliminator or two. Im adding hooks to either side for additional sweatshirt or broom storage to fit in our recessed entry closet.
