We have a shoeless house so this small benchshoe organizer is perfect without being in the way. It would hold 8 pairs of my size 7 shoes or 6 of my BFs size 10.5. Only his flip flops will fit on top (my sneakers and low heels fit fine). High heels or don’t fit here and I doubt men’s size 11 or larger would fit. The cushion is loose and optional. We will likely add an adhesive if we don’t swap out. I addd contact paper inside to help with wear and tear. I knew from other reviews that this was going to be very small! It needed to fit in a very narrow space so I gave it a try. I wear Women’s 7 1/2 and two pairs only fit on a shelf if one shoe goes in sideways - so the picture they provide must have very small shoes in there. But it will work for what I wanted.
