This butcher block is absolutely wonderful. It's big, beautiful, very well made and heavy. Exceeded my expectations. I was lucky enough to get it while on sale. But it's very much worth it. I don't know that you'd top the quality of this. It was intended to free up counter space but it's also a statement piece. Very nice, definitely recommend!. Candice. Las Vegas, NV. Thu Jun 25 2026

Give your kitchen a creative and unique look with these eye-catching end-grain chopping blocks. The end grain design will compliment any kitchen with light and dark color tones. This collection makes a great display piece for your kitchen as well. The various light and dark colors of the wood make it an ideal showpiece that will add that extra warmth to your kitchen.

Beautiful board. Very expensive, however it’s starting to crack on the seams even after being oiled and sealed over a week.. Amanda. Chesapeake, VA. Sun Jul 26 2026

A top-of-the-line cutting board that's large enough for any task. Made of gorgeous acacia hardwood, this large end-grain prep station is functional and beautiful due to its rich, shimmering colors. Unlike traditionally made boards, end grain construction is less dulling to cutlery because the wood grain direction accommodates cutting instead of resisting it. Wear and tear are minimized on both cutlery and the board, giving more longevity to all your cutting tools. This multi-functional board serves as a prep station, cutting, and serving board to satisfy all your kitchen needs. Decorative functionality at its finest, it's what you deserve. This product is made from acacia wood from Thailand, a non-endangered species that is not harvested from rainforests. We plant a tree for every tree we use. After use, wash this product in warm soapy water and wipe excess water off with a dry towel. Never soak or leave water on the wood during drying as it may result in warping over time. Wood products should never be washed in the dishwasher. Rejuvenate and protect your board by rubbing it down with butcher block oil after each use. When the board is dry, apply the oil liberally and allow it to soak in thoroughly before use. Regular application of our butcher block oil will prevent cracking and preserve the rich natural colors of the wood. From time to time, the surface may become "Bumpy". This is completely natural as we leave all of our wood in its natural state with no varnishes or lacquers. You can simply use high grit sandpaper to smooth it out and oil it again to bring it back to the new!

Absolutely love this cutting board! I highly recommend it to anyone BUT ONLY if you are committed to oiling constantly for the first 2 months. Because of the high quality wood, it dries easily. So after each use for the first 2 months I oiled and conditioned the board. Now I only touch up 1-2 times a month and I’m sure even that will lessen with time.. Tanya. PA. Sun Sep 27 2026

So far it's a great cutting board. Definitely have to follow the care recommendations for the initial oiling and seasoning for the first week or so. But after you get the protective layer going, its inly light maintenance. We'll see how it holds up going forward, but seems like it will be fantastic. Anonymous. US. Sun Apr 05 2026

Boosblock walnut wood cutting board. The item is made of all-natural American black walnut wood. Walnut sapwood is white and john boos use all of the wood. It's a tone color of the wood and the tone of the wood varies within the tree itself. Variations in the final product are not defects and therefore not covered under our warranty.

So far so good. No complaints yet. Hefty piece of wood. Very poor packaging for a 600 dollar - literally arrived in a box with no inner padding so some of the outer edges are a bit beat up, hence the 4 stars. That’s the only thing that I would be cautious about. Also waited for over a month for this piece to ship. We’ll see how it holds up over the next month or two.. Joshua. Sat Feb 10 2024

This cutting board was inspired by the original boos butcher blocks that were made from a solid piece of hardwood. their product is as close to nature as you can get and has a unique story. Each board is kiln-dried, with rustic edges and slight variances. You can even count the age rings. Some of their boards will have more grain than others; some will have knotholes and discolorations. All these features make each board beautiful, unique, and full of character just like they made them in 1887. Which one of their all-natural rustic-edge design cutting boards speaks to you.
