This tile is really beautiful and of great quality. Out of 8 boxes purchased, only one tile was chipped out of the box which I thought was amazing. My only complaint is that the tiles are VERY porous and easily stained and scuffed. It is a matte finish cement tile which we hadn't worked with before. It generated a ton of dust when cut. The wet saw used more water than usual with this tile and the dust turned to mud. We installed it in a bathroom and decided to seal it right away because as I mentioned, it stains easily. I can't imagine putting this tile in a kitchen as shown online due to the porous factor. Despite the easy stain and scuff issues, we do love the end result. Because each tile is made by hand, slight variations in color and finish are normal and part of its character. What you see on your screen might not be exactly what you will get, this is mostly due to several factors, among others: lighting when the picture was taken, lighting in your own monitor, but mostly changes in the glazes used between batches. All these factors are beyond our control. If in doubt, we recommend you to order a sample before committing to a bigger order. This tile has limited outdoors use, we don't recommend its use on temperatures under 40 degrees. It is not frost-proof.
