Looks sleek and modern. We had contractors replacing our entire tubshower area, so we didn’t install it ourselves, but they commented that it was a nice tub and easy to install. For some reason, the drain and overflow accessories weren’t compatible with our plumbing system, so we had to swap those out, and I wish deer valley made it easier to find other options that are compatible not only with different plumbing but with different finishes. First, the finish quality on this tub is very good, looks good. my main concern, and why I did not give it 5 stars is because the specifications and the CAD drawings spec the actual length at 66". However, the length is actually 65-3/4 " at the top of the tub and 65-5/8"at the bottom. This presented a problem requiring one of the end walls to be furred out so that the backerboard and tile installed correctly My rough-in was at 66-1/16" so as to allow the tub to slide in easily if it had been the length shown. The bathtub itself likely will suit our needs once we are able to use it. However, after having installed this 440-pound tub we found out the overflow hole is a half-inch smaller than the schematic shows. Thus, we could not install a standard-sized overflow valve such as one could buy at any American plumbing store. This put our project way behind schedule. We went from store to store to try and match the screw-hole dimension without success. We finally reached out to Wayfair who immediately understood and made inquiries on our behalf (thank you, Catherine, at Wayfair).
