This tile is great but the gris gray dye lot we got had a strong blue / purple undertone compared to the original sample piece. We purchased the Catch 3" x 12" subway tile in Ice with a matte finish. For a crisp, clean look, we chose to extend the tile out from the shower and across an entire wall. It does double-duty as a backsplash behind our vanity. Running the tile from floor to ceiling made our small, windowless bathroom feel much bigger too. We went for a vertical, stacked layout to give a modern vibe. Lastly, we recommend getting samples of both the glossy and matte finish so you can see the two side-by-side.
