Mortars have been used around the world for centuries, from Asia and Europe to the earliest populations of north and south America. The friction of the mortar's rough ceramic interior against the grinding action of the pestle releases the full flavor of herbs and spices, while also changing the texture and consistency of pesto and other dishes. The stoneware mortar & pestle is inspired by this age-old technique of careful preparation, with an unglazed interior that is abrasive enough to effectively break down contents, yet durable enough to withstand the friction of repeated grinding.

The Lafayette collection from the ED Ellen DeGeneres x Canvas Home collaboration clearly reflects Ellen's thoughtful and intuitive approach to design, which inspired it. Ellen came to us to understand and improve her vision through our commitment to simplicity and style. This scallop-edged dinnerware incorporates nature-inspired colors and a low gloss finish. Paired with coordinating table linens, the collection calls back to Ellen's garden in Montecito and the soft, sophisticated colors of a California Spring.  The ED Ellen DeGeneres x Canvas Home line embodies the essence of Ellen's most cherished values in life: warmth, style, and the joy of gathering with loved ones.

Very pretty and go perfectly with the dinnerware.. Linda. Chicago, IL. Sat Apr 18 2026

Beloved for its sophisticated simplicity, versatility, and durability, Lastra is our bestselling collection. The understated elegance, clean lines, and unique shape of the Lastra mug make it a timeless choice for your coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Lastra’s design was inspired by the circular wooden slabs used for centuries to create the outer mold in cheesemaking throughout Italy. When fashioned together with twine, the hoop was left with a slight overlap to help maintain the shape of the cheese mold. Maestro molder Stefano Roselli incorporates the overlapping detail into the entire design, from its foot to its rim. A dark dusting on the edges of each piece suggests the ash that was used to preserve these cheeses and highlights each unique silhouette.

Marble is prized for its enduring style that withstands heat and the elements, a reason why it has been historically used for everything from architecture to art. The pieces in the Le Creuset marble collection are inspired by this timeless appeal and patterned with a delicate gray-blue veined marble appliqué on a classic white backdrop. Evocative of the celebrated stone of Carrara, Italy, the appliqué lends an artisanal touch that ensures every piece is a culinary work of art. The Apron is designed to bring function, comfort and signature detail to every moment in the kitchen. Designed with utility in mind, it features a convenient front pocket with a double-sided panel, complete with a measuring conversion chat and internal temperature guide for quick reference while you

The measuring conversion chart and internal temperature guide on the front pocket is a very strange design choice. Since the information is printed right-side up for someone looking at the apron, it appears upside down to the person actually wearing it. It feels more like it was designed for someone standing in front of you to reference rather than for the wearer, which makes it awkward and mostly useless. The waist straps are also ridiculously long. I can wrap them around my waist twice with plenty of length left over. Between the impractical pocket design and the excessively long straps, the apron feels poorly thought out. Definitely not worth the price.. Rea Z. MA. Fri Aug 14 2026
