This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. I recently got the 90" Ava Sofa with the matching ottoman, and I've been really impressed with it. From the moment it arrived, the setup was incredibly simple. The only assembly required was attaching the legs, which took just a few minutes, so it was ready to use almost immediately. The movable ottoman is an incredibly versatile accessory because you can position it however works best for your space. The cushion covers unzip easily, making them simple to remove for washing which is incredible especially for a light-colored sofa. Finally, I can't express how comfortable this couch is. Immediately relaxing with some friends and it was soft enough to lounge on for hours.
