This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. I got the green daybed. The colors were true emerald which is lovely next to house plants. The bed feels sturdy but my only issue was the lack of a central support beam. So I just built one from some planks of wood. All in all, I am very pleased with this piece of furniture and I get to enjoy it as a couch and just sit on it getting some sunlight while reading. The size is good for a smaller apartment and seats two adults comfortably. The back is pretty short and the cushions are a little bit stiff. But assembly was easy and the blue color is very bright and what we expected. The boxes were all smashed when delivered and one piece was damaged. It was replaced free of charge within about a week.
