It took close to five hours to put together... but I thoroughly read the directions before starting, then didn't rush. Took about four times stopping and starting... First run was 2.5 hours, then shorter spurts with a 10 y/o "helping". It was not difficult to put together; the directions were actually very good. We have two pieces with cracks, but they seemed superficial and surface-level. One edge on the back was not trimmed to slide the backing in - had to take a knife to the plastic trim blocking the groove. The lights around the mirror have three color tones, plus you can adjust brightness. My daughter also loves the LED strip inside the glass top. This is one of the best makeup tables I have gotten. It is very slim design, so it does not take a lot of space. But it has extensive storage. The inside of the top drawers have individual compartments. All of that hold cosmetics or whatever you needed to hold. The mayor does light up. It has different modes as well. Vanity lights and USB was in good condition one of the cabinets came cracked from the top but was still stable enough to hold the first drawer and the top covered it anyways so you can’t see the crack.
