The bed frame is simple but quite pretty and sturdy. The low profile footboard doesn’t cut into a small room - helps to keep it open. And there are two height choices. The taller choice allows for a nice space underneath for storage. The only thing I worry about is the plastic spacers that keep the crossbars for the platform in place. Me and my husband put the bed together and we got it done in about an hour. Once together we realized that we needed a little more support for our foam mattress because the metal slats were not wide and had to much space between them to give good support. We just put the cardboard the frame came in on top of the frame and it worked great. The frame is very sturdy and i needed that support being over 200 lbs.
