The 5 stars are for the excellent customer service that Wayfair provides. The storage bench is not as well made as I would expect it to be (perhaps 3.5 to 4 stars) since it does look nice just material used is cheap. The first one I received had a broken leg, the top thin plastic cover that protects the cushion was ripped which left a small stain and the hinge was broken on the left side. I attached a picture of the leg. Upon contacting Wayfair customer service they promptly took care of it. The replacement I received is in perfect shape. My recommendation to the manufacturer would be to put additional packaging around the legs to keep them from breaking and to use a stronger plastic wrap to protect the top cushion. Bench is beautiful however came with multiple problems. Sent with 1 screw missing, and 4 wrong long screws. When I tried screwing them in they pushed out the fabric and nailhead. Had to hurry and unscrew to make fabric go back in place. Had a dirty fork looking spot on side, legs had white residue all over them. What a headache!! If it wasn’t so beautiful I would of sent back but everything worked out with some TLC. The dirty spot wiped off, I used brown shoe polish on the legs which hid the white spots on legs. Wayfair sent me the right screws for the legs and the spot that pushed out went in mostly. It just has 1 nailhead that is a little pushed out so I turned that side to the back.
