The sofa arrived in 2 boxes. It is shrink wrapped. So once assembled it takes 3 days to fully inflate properly. It is comfortable enough. I purchased a 3 inch topper to put on top when using it as a guest bed. I don’t think it would be comfortable enough without the topper. For the price point it’s adequate. No real complaints.. This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. I am so pleased that I made this purchase. I was on the fence for several days and I finally decided to do it and it came in so quick and assembly was essentially easy. There was a little bit of parts. I didn’t make sense but I love this couch. It’s so comfortable to sleep on. If you are OK with firmness that is. But it’s a perfect couch for watching TV. Positively IN LOVE with these sofas! Firm enough for me, soft enough for my husband.
