I love these chairs! They are ALMOST exactly as described. Sturdy, easy assembly, and despite other reviews, comfortable. (They are for my formal dining room, so seated sessions will be infrequent and relatively short.) Taupe is a nice neutral color. The legs are stained pretty dark, I would call it black. I almost didn’t buy them because of the schematic dimensions. I even called to confirm dimensions and the rep was obviously looking at the same thing. Schematic indicates 20” high 6” seat. Which would make the chair rise 26” under my 27” table apron. The true dimension from floor to top of seat is 19” - which is perfect for my table. These look great in photos and are a nice size. I like that these are taller than other similar styles on the website. These actually suprised me a little because they are a touch larger than I thought they would be. For our first time using them, we tried to put them around an oblong table, but the scale wasn't right. We paired it in the photos with a table we got from Cost Plus that is a rectangle but a little slimmer than traditional rectangular dining tables but it was a much better fit.
