Great product so far. And aesthetically, the most minimal and elegant dehumidifier I could find. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed. This dehumidifier is amazing. I usually have it in the basement but right now it’s upstairs. It fills up with water fast. Pulled out the humid temperature fast. Works as designed for now, unfortunately very small tank, buying that was an error on my part. Fortunately attaching a hose & draining into my sump pump is the only reason this got 4*. This is the second Frigidaire I bought, the first one lasted over 8 years & had a 2 gallon tank. It was easy to operate & clean filter but for years it threw an error code we had to override by unplugging. Error codes on Frigidaire units are a problem. This lil dehumidifier is working great so far! I unboxed it, put it on the landing of my stairs so it could dehumidify my upstairs which is like an attic but it’s two bedrooms and a bath. Maybe 450 sq ft and my down stairs is 750 sq ft. Total1200 sq ft. This lil guy had casters so you can roll it around but on carpet a lil harder to do. It’s heavy so rolling it is best. Comes with a manual but honestly it’s self explanatory. It works with an online SmartLife app once you get that set up you change settings through the app not on the unit itself. I took photos of the app to show all the settings but if you don’t want the app you can change settings on the unit manually. It’s one or the other can’t change settings on unit if it’s on your WiFi app which I think is odd Dumping the water is easy just pull out the reservoir pick it up by the handle and take it first where you want to dump water, because it could spill out if you remove the lid first. To remove the lid is simple it has a small arm you push down on and the lid pops open, just take out off lid, dump water, put lid back in place and push down and it snaps into place. Push the reservoir back into unit till it’s secure and turn unit back on. Always turn unit off before removing the reservoir to dump water. I set mine on 35 so far I’ve dumped it 3 times in 24 hours it holds quite a bit of water. I can’t believe how much humidity was in this house. There’s a drain tube included as well.. Annette. US. We replaced an older unit with the new Waykar 120 pint dehumidifer. This unit is smaller and lighter than the model it replaced while still removing moisture at a higher rate. It's also a lot quieter than our older unit. Very easy to understand and operate the control panel. Had it set up in less than 5 minutes. Initial 2 hour run at low speed dropped the humidity in our basement from 65% to 54%. Have it set up to gravity drain into a sump, so we don't need to worry about emptying the bucket. Works as designed for now, unfortunately very small tank, buying that was an error on my part. Fortunately attaching a hose & draining into my sump pump is the only reason this got 4*. This is the second Frigidaire I bought, the first one lasted over 8 years & had a 2 gallon tank. It was easy to operate & clean filter but for years it threw an error code we had to override by unplugging. Error codes on Frigidaire units are a problem. Absolutely awesome!!! Made a complete night and day difference in our basement. It’s on par with commercial dehumidifiers used for cleaning homes after flooding or other potential water problems. It is very quiet, easy to understanduse. It is on the larger side and kind of heavy. But it has two sturdy handles on the top of it that make moving much easier even though it is a large unit as i mentioned. But if you are looking for large area coverage it’s definitely worth the price. I can’t say enough about this dehumidifier. It’s extremely well made. It performs better than expected and has replaced two 70 pint dehumidifiers in a very humid indoor space. It holds humidity levels to our desired humidity range of below 50 without issue. The blower is powerful and helps to move air around the space it is in. The gravity drain is easy to connect the provided hose and clamp to as well. There is also a washable and reusable air filter on the intake side. This is a nice compact dehumidifier. It's sturdy and heavy but doesn't take up too much space. The wheels and handle are great for mobility. One of the best things about it is how quiet it is in operation. For a commercial dehumidifier, the sound is very low. I don't have the ability to fully comment on it's effectiveness yet but can say that the reading changed rather quickly with a short test try. This dehumidifier has a nice digital display and is easy to read. It has 2 fan speeds and I like the option to set a certain amount of time for the unit to run. Some of the control options are not explained in the user manual (like what is purpose of the “Air Supply” indicator). And the 5 safety instruction regarding cleaning the unit is an example of not being proofed by an English proficient person (photo of page provided). It’s easy to open and remove the water tank for emptying having both the tank and access to the reusable filter in the front is very handy. Although the dehumidifier is a bit heavy, it rolls easily to move from room to room. The unit’s humidity gauge shows a higher room level than our 2 digital gauges, but it seems to be doing a good job of removing humidity from our house. So far it is working well. I gave it 4 stars due to lack of detailed info for the Control Panel. UPDATE After using the unit for a bit, there is a noticeable hum even when running on low. This worked INSANELY fast. Like when I started it was 64% humidity in my bathroom and within five minutes it was down to 54%.
