This did not turn out to be what we need We have a very similar smaller unit that has the option of being installed in a recessed openingmantle OR just mounted on the wall. This one does not seem to have that option. I took a photo of the back to show no mounting holes or bracket. Still giving 5 stars since it’s my fault for not reading closely enough. This is so beautiful. Just what I wanted! I did not use the bottom piece because I wanted the fireplace to be shorter than the window. Assembly of the mantle was straightforward. However, the fireplace which basically didn’t require assembly, left me guessing as to where to put the LED light strip. Personally, I did not like the back lighting, so I unplugged them.. Cristina.
