This is such a nice fireplace such a great deal for the price. You will not be disappointed. This is beautiful for the space in the bedroom. It is 59” across and the mantle is 64”. It was extremely easy to assemble. The screws for attaching the firebox are easy self drilling screws, so don’t have pre- drilled holes. As others said, it is top heavy and wants to fall forward. A bottom shelf inside horizontally might fix the instability. Company should work to improve this design flaw. I found a door wedge on both sides secures it in place.
