[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love the 800 Series downdraft we paired wiht our Bosch Induction cooktop. When not in use it is flush with the stovetop which helps create a flat seamless flow on the countertop. When we have used it, it works very well. The unit was compatible with the exhaust vent from our old Jenn-Air cook top. Highly recommend this downdraft. Iras. Fri Nov 14 2025

So far its great! We have had it installed (husband did it with his friend) for about 1 month. It is fairly quiet but really powerful on the highest level. Ive noticed. I haven't even had to use the highest level yet. The light is super bright. I wish there was more than one level to the light though. It was fairly easy and straightforward to unstall. The problem we had was our vent hole was smaller than the stencil overlay so we didnt know what to do initially. We figured it out, had to cut the hole! It worked out. So far we are very happy with it. We have open concept kitchen and smells do not float upstairs anymore! That was my major qualm with the over ranger microwave hood. All the smells would float upstairs. Now I dont have that issue!. Sandy. Rio Rancho, NM. Fri Jul 24 2026

Out of sight when not in use for those coveted open kitchen sightlines, this one-and-done hidden downdraft has everything you need, and nothing you don’t. A sleek, efficient louver makes this a very visually pleasing solution for nearly any kitchen.

Replaced an older downdraft system from the 90s, this unit was best for me because beneath the countertop, the motor can be movedpositioned either in front of or behind the unit. It rises much taller than my previous unit and seems to have decent strength, although of course, nothing will compare to a hood mounted above the cooktop.. Elizabeth. NY. Wed Jan 21 2026

Introducing our innovative Flush Ceiling Range Hood, the Victory Sunset. Meticulously designed to seamlessly integrate into your open-concept kitchens while delivering unparalleled performance and aesthetic elegance. Made in Canada with precision engineering, this range hood redefines the standards of modern kitchen ventilation. With its sleek, minimalist design and matte white finish, the Victory Sunset effortlessly blends into any contemporary kitchen space by installing between ceiling joists so no reframing is necessary. Its powerful 600 CFM blower provides unobtrusive yet powerful ventilation and the bright warm LEDs provide great lighting over your cooktop.

I am very happy with this hood. The quality of build seems solid, installation instructions were very clear, and it I think it looks great. It takes some planning and work to get it installed. You have to make sure your ceiling joists and ductwork is going the right direction or be prepared to do some modifications. I have a soffit and had to take down a bunch of drywall to modify the framing, run the 14/3 romex for the light/fan and modify the ducting. Then I replaced the drywall, taped, texture, paint and installed the hood. Fortunately it all came together nicely. I was able to held the hood in place while my wife drive the screws into the framing. I think it will be worth it in the end because the hood won’t be blocking the view in front of our cooktop..
