The only surprise was that they were brighter silver in color than I expected; but still 5 stars. I thought they would have a heat-tempered finish. I fixed this by cold blueing it with Birchwood Casey Super Blue Liquid Gun, (typically used for blueing metal gun parts) giving them a glowing charcoal gray finish. I had a 32oz bottle from Amazon but it only used about 4 oz each (3 applications; 30 seconds each) - very easy to get professional results. It comes in smaller sizes.
