The durable leakproof replacement pan fits all 42" long folding metal dog crates offered by MidWest Homes for Pets. The replacement pan is compatible with the MidWest Homes for Pets Single Door / Double Door Crates. The durable replacement pan is made with a flexible polypropylene plastic mixture which is odor resistant, easy to clean, and stronger than other replacement pans that are made of ABS plastic. Additionally, our replacement pans are injection molded during the manufacturing process making them more flexible/durable than competitors who vacuum seal their pans during the manufacturing process. These pans are designed to easily slide in and out of the dog crate for easy cleaning in the event an accident occurs. Although these are made as replacement pans for our dog crates, many customers also use them as a multi-purpose trays as well. I recently became an unexpected mom to a huge 9-months-old border collie. I needed a good sturdy kennel and wanted one that was attractive as well. I really love this kennel. It is very large, but it's what I needed. I had some difficulty putting it together by myself, but it is very doable. I also purchased the beautiful pillow shown inside in the attached photo from Wayfair, but the pillow is a little too lofty for my dog. I’m really happy with this crate. It’s sturdy and well made. The directions were clear and it was easy to put together though still took a while. I love that it’s so stylish and great looking, it could easily be tucked into a corner or put next to a couch and blend in. The electrical outlet on the back is so discreet and such a great plus. Overall, I’m satisfied with this dog house. I honestly expected the inside to be a little bigger, but it still provides enough room for my two dogs (80 lb and 70 lb) to lie down comfortably. They primarily stay outside, and they mainly use it when they want a quiet place to rest or a little space from each other. Assembly was straightforward and fairly easy. The only downside was the instruction manual—I didn’t find it very helpful. In my opinion, the dog house is simple enough that it can be assembled without relying much on the instructions. Wasn’t hard to build if you have any knowledge of cabinet construction. Generally looks nicer than comparable units because of the raised face door and drawers. Over all quality is great, especially for the price! I needed it for two small dogs so I added a divider in the middle so that the sliding door is one kennel and the side door is the other..
