And at an early step of assembly the weight of one piece peeled off some layers of composite material from another that it was screwed to. It is a very nice looking product and works very nice for the new higher-sitting toilet that I had installed a few of weeks ago. Also with the new toilet we switched from a round bowl and seat to an elongated bowl and seat. Thus I never thought about how high the longer seat would swing upward when open and this oversight causes a tipping issue I did not anticipate. Also, I forgot to account for the baseboard along the bathroom floor and although this unit met all of the other dimensional needs for my particular situation, I now have a 1/2" gap between the storage unit back and the wall. Wish I had thought of these things before I bought it, put it all together, and set in place, only to find out that getting too relaxed and leaning back against the seat cover on the throne causes the lip of the seat to push back on the lower shelf causing the unit to rock back and forth against the wall. DOH! Perhaps future models could come with a self-adhesive spacer to place at key points on the unit backing to remedy this circumstance? Oh well...LIVE AND LEARN!. Packfanal. Wisconsin.
