This lamp looks great in person and has a really modern, interesting shape. It was very easy to assemble, arrived well packaged, and the light works well. I also really like the foot switch. It’s fairly lightweight and you can tell the shade is plastic when you handle it, so it doesn’t feel especially heavy or high-end, but visually it looks much nicer than it feels. It can also be a little wobbly if the pieces aren’t screwed together tightly, but once everything is properly tightened it feels stable. The soft, diffused light creates a warm and cozy atmosphere, making it perfect for a living room or reading corner. My only reason for giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is the assembly instructions. While the lamp itself was straightforward to put together, the directions never explained how to assemble the pleated lampshade. I had to figure that part out on my own, which was confusing and took longer than it should have.
