My parents bought this shadowbox lamp at an antique store in England in the early 1960’s. I inherited it when they passed away, but have not been able to use it for a variety of reasons. I finally had the whole thing fixed and seatched everywhere for just the right shade because the base is rectangular shaped. I found this on Wayfair, ordered it late last week and it arrived today. It is perfect. The quality is what I hoped for (and my mother would approve!) and the unusual shape really highlights the shadow box lamp base. Michael. Austin, TX. Mon Oct 05 2026

Drum shaped lamp shades offer a range of advantages over other shapes. One of the primary benefits of a drum shade is its simplicity and versatility. The clean lines and classic shape of the drum shade make it a timeless and elegant option for any room, whether it's a traditional or modern setting. Due to its shape, the light is dispersed evenly across the room, making it an ideal choice for areas that require ample lighting, such as a workspace or a reading nook. Finally, drum lamp shades match many different types of lamp bases. Overall, the drum shaped lamp shade is a practical, stylish, and versatile choice for any lighting design.Features fossilized cocoa leaves that are hand placed on a standard UL lamp backing, laminated, and formed into a traditional wide-based lampshade shape. The shade is attached on a wrought iron frame.
