Now, I'm not worried about myself breaking it, as I only weigh 135lbs. But if I was significantly heavier... I wonder how long it would last. Overall: at time of writing, I reviewed the various options, and this was the nicest quality chair on Wayfair in this price range and in the finish that I wanted.
